1. Trim stems at a 45-degree angle using sharp shears before placing them in water.
2. Fill a clean glass vase with cool, fresh water and place the bouquet away from direct tropical sunlight or direct air conditioning vents.
3. Refresh the water every 24 to 48 hours and remove any foliage that sits below the waterline.
4. Handle the trailing amaranthus gently when unboxing to preserve its natural downward drop.
